Default update on new females

Hey,
The four new females are doing very good, there all eating and showing good signs of filling out, even there tails are beginning to fatten up a little. They've been moved into a more permanent enclosure with four hide-away spots made from flat rock slabs. The thinnest one just finished shedding, she had a little problem with this shed, two more are getting ready to shed now, the big male stays near and watches them closely, I check on them at 2:30AM while I'm getting ready for work and there out cruising around.
Still searching for other different types of Cave Geckos, such as Goniurosaurus araneus and Goniurosaurus luii, thought I had a few leads even made contact with a Chinese wholesaler but all they have right now are Hainanensis, don't think I'll go this route, they require a large order to beginning with, found a couple on some photo sharing sites, left messages but haven't gotten any replies yet.
Whats throwing me off guard is some people are using different names such as Vietnamese Leopard or Tiger even spotted Cave Gecko's, some just call everything Chinese Cave Gecko's

Joe

Well thats odd, half of my thread turned yellow

I'm glad they are healthy! My wc female is doing well too, she looks as good as my CB geckos, and more friendly than my CB male, strange little thing. Good luck on your search!

Now that I have my guy in his larger enclosure, I'm starting the hunt for 1-2 females. He's a hainanensis, so I'm looking for two more. I'll take some pics of the new viv and post them when I get a chance. He's got a cave to hide in, a waterfall and a large Buddha statue that's supposed to be for an aquarium, but looks awesome in his viv. It's a 20 gallon tall with a hinged screen top, and I'll probably had a couple places to climb at some point.

I've also noticed anything black with red eyes and stripes is called a Chinese cave gecko on-line. Luckily, I'm searching for one of the easier to find species.

Yeah people tend to mislabel Cave Geckos quite often. For us Goni breeders it is usually quite easy to tell which species is which though. Especially when it comes to the WC market, telling between Hainanensis Luii and Araenus. Kingsnake seems to have a good amount of Hainanensis for sale.
