I believe Brandon added categories so us newer folks can participate in more than just gecko discussions.

Yep! Added Snake, Amphibian and other animals categorizes as well. I think the next Category will be an OT category to go and chat about ANYTHING!

I'm lizard-less :P Don't worry, I don't have geckos either!
Very cute Geckos!
What frogs do you have?
Welcome to the CGF!

I have american grey tree frogs (6 of them) and 1 wood frog. They like to start to chirp when the kids get all whiny or when someone starts to make alot of noise. I really enjoy them cause I like the way they sound. Wood frog doesn't make any noise but she's pretty. My tree frogs range in coloring from very light grey (almost white) to a very pretty neon green. They are sooo cool!!!

Yeah, frogs are great :D
I have a Pacman frog. He (Or she) doesn't sing...yet, but I can't wait till s/he starts (Only is s/he's a male though...)

What kind of a sound do the pacman frogs make? Does only one sex make the sound (to attract the other?)

Yeah, only males. I'm not really sure how it sounds (I've never heard it before), but I'll let you know if mines a male :D

Im also very interested in knowing what they actually sound like. I never realized they were vocal.

Leanne - did we not try to work with that audio file once??
I have a MP3 of "toad song" (breeding calls) I recorded back in my swamps last summer.

Yes, Wayne. I recorded it from my phone but I need to convert it to an audio file you can upload. Haven't gotten there yet :)
Little hesitant to download any software required for this on my Husband's work computer. Don't want to be the one responsible for blowing it up! Rather let him be mad at himself for something like that!

lol. I'm the type of person who downloads everything and yet my computer never blows up...:D
I went through practically all the movie converters until I found one that was good :P
But when I was looking for a good audio file one (To make differnet file types into mp3's) I couldn't find one...That was last year, so who knows. I can try to find one for you when I have some extra time ;)

Thank you, that would be great. I don't do much with music and audio, so I wouldn't know what is good or not.
