Well, my name is Bridgette. I've been in the Leo buisness coming on 8 years now and I'm finding it harder and harder to resist the allure of the Cave Gecko lol. I hope to start working with them this coming year. I'm sure I'll learn lots of good info from everyone and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all :)

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm really glad to be here. So far with the research I've done I'm favoring the hainanensis for my starting pair or trio :)

Great choice, they are the easiest to find around right now. Keep in mind that if you go on Kingsnake, you will more than likely be finding Wild Caught ones. There is nothing wrong with that, but keep that in mind and it would be a good idea to follow a strict quarantine with them, and make sure to get them fecaled. Good luck with them, and any questions at all please dont be afraid to ask! I hope you enjoy the forum!

Thanks for the info! I'm going to try to stay away from WC.. from what I've gathered they dont do as well in captivity compared to CB, which is completely understandable. Also, like you mentioned with the quarantine, I have other reptiles to consider and I would rather not take the chance of bringing a pathogen to the other guys. I would rather take my time finding a more healthy and adjusted animal then put the rest of my collection at risk. I am definately enjoying this forum a lot! Thanks for the welcome :D

Then in that case, splendens actually seem to be the easiest to find to me at least right now. They are only CB, since gonis are highly protected in Japan.
