Anyone ever heard of using this type of product for Goniurosaurus species? I was planning on one for my Chondro and thought about my Gonis, hrmmm. Any thoughts? I'll be back in 2 weeks with how it went :).
Thanks.

I used one in a diff setup before and in my experience they are junk. Had 3 diff ones, all 3 stopped working. You actually need some type pond or something in the setup for a fogger, and i personally think that would be a HUGE waiste of space in a Goni setup. I know they love humidity, but I would imagine there has to be a line on the high side somewhere and I would guess that would probably to overdoing it unless its a large setup

First off, I would never use any reptile industry fogger. ( I think the junk lies there, using cheap foggers and packaged for reptile use) just my opinion. The setup I am using are 3, 3 drawer sterlite drawer/tubs stacks. They are quite tall but not completely covered, and with the addition of air holes, I don't see it becoming overbearingly high humidity-wise. I do plan on having a few extra Hygrometers. What I plan to do is make a sort of exhaust fog system that would be used for the later part of the day and into the night. (Starting at top of tub and making way down) I'll post pics when I get this experiment under way. It may seem lol, techical or unfathomable, but hey, I like to have fun and experiment. I do appreciate the thoughts.:)
Heres a link to a fogger supplier. http://www.mainlandmart.com/foggers.html
As well, they do already make things that I am planning to make, but! It's used for aeroponics and is expensive on the flip side it'll be 10x cheaper for me to just make one myself.

Sounds pretty sweet actually. As long as the humidity is monitored so it doesnt get to high, sounds pretty interesting

I have had mixed results with "cheap" ultrasonic foggers... I have had them go forever and some last only a few weeks. It seems that the ones I used for frog setups last...might have something to do with the kind of water, could be coincidence.

I like using the human humidifiers and piping the fog into an enclosure. I have done this with my dart frogs and day geckos and it has worked perfect. could be done for caves or any other humidity loving reptile. weather in a display or rack system. though in a rack type system watch out for to much water build up.
