Stripes?

Ive noticed with Kuroiwae it seems like there are striped ones and spotted ones. Anyone have any clue if the stripes are genetic, or just random?

Could the be different breeder morphs?

Maybe they are from different regions?

To answer my own question, I rechecked the Eyelash Gecko book and it does have to do with their origin. most Northern population Kuroiwae show faint horizontal bands according to the book. Alot of southern Kuroiwae do not show bands, but vertical stripe. Others may show no stripes or bands, but spots. Some may show nothing at all.
